We have lived in our home for nine years and have slaved and labored to tame this patch of wild, high prairie of eastern Colorado from dirt and weeds to something of beauty that could thrive in the extreme climates of this unpredictable environment. We succeeded. But we are completely spent and considering a move to something smaller and easier to maintain as we prepare for retirement. If this happens, we will miss our beautiful acre and weep uncontrollably at farewell. Like pets and people, we get so attached to that with which we're most invested. I thoroughly enjoyed reading someone who understands that. Blessings to you and your new garden.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
